More loyal member notables, back for their second, third or fourth Convention, were Sandy Moss, below left, and his wife, Ellye, former owners of the Miriam Haskell jewelry company.

New to Conventioneers but certainly not to the jewelery manufacturing community was Larry Kasoff, former owner of the Florenza jewelry company.
This year, the show and sale was so large that it used two full rooms to accommodate all the exhibitors. Table after table laden with the finest vintage and modern collectible jewelry, what a banquet!

Conventioneers with sizable collections of their own were busy adding to them, and trading back and forth among themselves It is not accidental that they call the biennial VF&CJ Convention The Big One.

Saturday evening program continued with a celebration of vintage fashions show after dinner while the much anticipated auction was held. Leigh Leshner, seen here at right, with David Mandle and Lucille Tempesta, held the gavel in turns with Larry Kasoff, auctioning jewelry donated by VF&CJ Members, with proceeds of the auction to benefit the VF&CJ Newsletter color supplement. A raffle of more great donated jewelry was also held, another highlight for lucky winners.
